Artificial intelligence is increasingly used to prepare reports, analyse information, create content, support decisions and automate workplace activities. While these applications can improve productivity, they may also expose organisations to inaccurate information, data leakage, bias, intellectual property concerns, inappropriate decision-making and reputational damage.
Business leaders and managers remain responsible for how AI is used within their teams, even when they are not directly involved in developing the technology. They need a practical way to distinguish acceptable use from situations requiring stronger controls, human review or management approval.
This practical one-day workshop helps participants understand responsible AI from a business and management perspective. It introduces relevant concepts from Singapore’s AI governance approach and ISO/IEC 42001 in accessible business language. Through workplace scenarios and guided activities, participants will assess an AI use case, develop responsible-use rules and prepare a 30-day action plan for their team or organisation.

Adrian Chin is a corporate trainer and AI strategy advisor with over 30 years of international business experience across Europe and Asia, including postings in Europe, Hong Kong, and Indonesia, and 8 years in corporate training and adult education. He has delivered WSQ programmes, executive education, and customised in-house workshops for public and private sector organisations in Singapore.
As an Adjunct Lecturer with the National Institute of Education (NIE), he teaches instructional technology, blended learning, curriculum design, and responsible AI, including programmes delivered through NIE for public sector training academies. He also lectures at PACE@NTU in digital marketing and business capability programmes.
His core training topics are AI Applications, Generative AI, Responsible AI, Digital Transformation, and Leadership Development. His sessions focus on real business problems, so participants leave with skills they can apply at work the next day.
